Newsletter 07/04/19 (04-07-19)
Today marks our second anniversary since the launch of Monolith. Yes, it has been that long ago since we launched our server (07/04/17)! Many changes were made and new features have been implemented throughout the years. From a small project to a growing and thriving community, we have gained:
- 9,742 members on the forums
- 157,628 unique players
- 4181 active or cancelled Premium Member subscriptions
- and 196,299 reports claimed by staff. Compare the statistics with our last year's newsletter here.
Premium not only supports Monolith, but also allows you to unlock exclusive features in our servers (Garry's Mod & Rust). Become one today!
But there is more! A set of events will take place on the server, to celebrate Monolith’s anniversary. Keep your schedule free from 7th to 13th of April and make sure to keep an eye on discord and our steam group.
As we approach the map's release, we have a lot to show you regarding progress since last year. Click here to check out the latest progress (or check the album below). Keep an eye on our Monoford Trello board to see further updates/progress. Currently we do not have a release date set, however we can be sure to say that you will get your hands on it sooner than you think. We are excited to see the end result of Monoford and hope you will accompany us in our journey to releasing this amazing map.
This week, we released our latest Platform Update - 5.1. It was a great success, and people are loving it. We've introduced a revamp to the lockpicking system, a whole lot of quality of life changes, and some police changes as well!
We're going to be going on content lockdown for a while. We'll be working on new, great features - and combining them together along with Monoford. 6.0. This is new to us, so we hope that we can pull it off and increase the hype factor with our updates - summer's coming, so get excited!
We recently opened up 2 Rust servers! We've been able to gather a playerbase for it, and custom features that will enhance your gameplay experience! For more information, visit MONORUST.COM or join our Discord.
We want to thank every member again for this amazing experience and for your contribution. It has been one hell of a ride with some exciting changes. Monolith has been around for 2 years and we are striving for another great year with you by our side!
A big thank you & great job to the administrative staff members, mentors, developers, server directors, community managers/director and of course YOU, the players! Keep up the work and hopefully we will meet again next year.
EXTRA: Have you noticed our #development channel? If so, the following picture will (hopefully lol) make a lot more sense. What, o what are we plotting this time?
