I actually quite like playing corrections, even though it's usually pretty empty. However, I think a few additions to the job would make it much better. Firstly, as a change, I'd like to see them have a darker-green uniform, rather than just using the police officer uniform. This way they'll be distinguishable in the like, 3 times in history where that will have mattered, and also just because it looks cooler.
Additionally, I believe Corrections Officers should have access to some sort of transport van. It might be wise to limit it to maybe 1 or 2 maximum at a time, but having a vehicle for the guards to use would be useful for plenty of things, such as transporting a suspect to or from a jail cell or court if a mayor had a court case, patrolling to find an escapee, and being able to quickly respond to someone attempting to trespass on the external perimeter of the wall. The trunk props could also be useful if the guards wanted to set up some sort of checkpoint outside the prison, and would let them access the police terminal.
Lastly, maybe some form of panic button. Now, I already understand how abusable this'd be if implemented improperly, and Corrections already has it's own dedicated radio frequency, which is never overcrowded because not many play the job. However, if each individual Officer (not cadet) had a dedicated panic button, the first few could alert only other corrections officers, but if enough (say, 3 or 4 or 5) go off within a short enough time of eachother, it could alert the police departments that the prison has an emergency situation.

Lmk what you think of it, idk if there's a proper place to post this so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can make suggestions at the link above, it’s easier for the devs to understand exactly what you want with their format and can keep track of it better on GitHub.

Ye but getting community feedback on the idea isn't as efficient on that platform.
