Don't delete them or block them, if you're suspected of cheating and are asked to show the demos and you refuse / have deleted them, you're basically fucked.

It's not in the ruleset yet - but it will be. We will act on you purposely withholding demos from us if we ask for them. There is no reason to withhold them unless you're cheating or breaking server rules. Withholding the demo will incite that you are cheating. So pick the lesser evil.

I took a look at my demos folder yesterday but couldn't figure out how to play them, is there a specific app for it?

They're not in the exact demos folder they're in your data/monolith_replays folder, to watch them you drag them from this folder into the main demos folder and then when you're on gmod on the start screen where it says Start New Game etc down below will be a demos tab you click that then play on the demo

There is no reason? So we got our HD/SSDs working for T.Ventures now, we are forced to store GBs of files because y'all can't create a real anti-cheat.

Just don't play. We will be clearing out older demos, so it won't be too much disk space.

It's not like you're gonna have to keep them for like months lol, They'll be cleared out and then new ones go in.

What will be the threshold then? Because in less than one night i got arround 800mb in my SSD that has only 5gb left. Also SereneKiller has reported to have erased 9Gbs of demo files from his PC, he might play a lot but this stills stupid. Tell me what other online game does this

Numerous gmod servers. Like Tj said you don’t have to join the server at all if this is a big issue. Nobody has complained and your demos will eventually delete

Do you even read before replying? I said "online games", 9GBs of demos, how long is that "eventually"?.
It's easier to just say "don't play it", thats right no one is forced to agree with such of lazy cheat measures, they can't even rely own their own software and structure to improve their game services so now they need your machine storage too.

My friend no other online games that doesn't run on source have demos, we don't have a Anti- cheat (except VAC) nor can implement one. We don't own gmod. The only thing we have is Anti-Exploit which prevents people from exploiting, and running Lua cheats. That's literally all we can do. The ignorance from this message is very high, and doesn't surprise me coming from you. You'd be surprised by how many Anti-Cheats access your machine files to detect whether or not you have malicious programs.
