Whenever I try to fish, I cant see my casting line, nor do I hear the bait bobbing in the water. Anyone know how to solve this issue? I'm not standing in front of anything behind me.

I just fling my mouse all over the place until I see the line and the bobber hit the water. Usually if you aim your rod flat or downa little, it helps. Just fling your mouse all over works for me.

I tried that, but I still don't see or hear anything.

You have to throw your hook very up-close to the water. Like look down to closet part of the water and then you will be able to see the line and the hook being bounced once the fish bites it.
