Hell Hour

I'd like to open a discussion on what some of the LEOs last night started referring to as hell hour. Basically, the second the last player with admin privileges logged off last night, all hell broke lose. I'm talking all of downtown on fire, players spreading fire without regard, mass shooters, loads of prop pushing.

As I'm not typically on in the wee hours, is this something that we're seeing on the daily now, or is it an every-now-and-then deal?
What has your experience with this time of the day been, and how do you see it remedied?

It is gmod, people do this on all servers. On Mono though, we are catching a bunch of players doing this and punishing them harshly. So if you want to help us out, you may take a video and send it in a player report or you can upload the video and send it to me or any of the higher ups.

Personally, that's basing time. Start getting your cooking up, start getting that farming level up, and stay away from downtown. Hell, you could even go mining, do ya crushing, and only make bars. Guns if you're risky enough.

One thing that has been pissing me off lately though is cops that put random spike strips in hard to see areas. I wish there was a feature that allowed you to see and/or copy the steam id/names above deployed spike strips. It's super hard for the pd as well since they can never know who deploys these random spikes. I'll prolly make a suggestion for that here pretty soon, but i've been too lazy with work going on.

What has your experience with this time of the day been, and how do you see it remedied?

I honestly find it fun to watch, or even partially participate. Not in a rule breaking way, but in the way that other people are trying to RDM you so you can get some PVP in. I think it’s nice for everyone to cut loose once in a while, and in my personal opinion, there should be a 5 hour period every like 2 weeks where there’s just no server rules at all. It’d be like the ACTUAL idea of the Purge in the movie

It’s been an issue pretty much nightly for the past week i’ve seen but the past few days staff has been on during this time and it hasn't been horrible hopefully it stays this way.
