how do i get into the server

Can you provide some more detail about the issue you're having? Such as what part of the download does it stick at? What things have you tried to fix it?

If you haven't already, try switching your game beta to Chromium x86 - 64
Close GMOD, Right click Garry's Mod in Steam Library, Click Properties, Click Betas Tab, and switch it to the one shown below.

it just says that how resource/fonts/ugficons.ttf when I load and then it freezes and I've tried all the betas and I've waited for 4 hours trying to fix it and I don't know what to do

Have you been tabbing out of the game during this? This is something that occurs with some people, just let it sit on the resource/fonts/ugficons.ttf screen for a bit, generally, it is just loading (not actually freezing up and crashing), which might take some time.
