Rockford Independence Day Parade
Hello citizens of Rockford! It is July 4th, also known as Independence Day, or the day that America liberated itself from the British in 1776. As usual, we will be hosting our annual Independence Day Parade to celebrate America. Lawsuits, commercial breaks, beer, guns, freedom, McDonalds, and more; all symbols that represent our beautiful nation.
The parade will occur at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (Time Zones) and will begin in front of town hall, featuring floats from Rockford’s many businesses, cascading through the city before ending in the supermarket area. Do note that roads will be closed, and many areas will only be accessible by foot or detour. Enjoy the show.

After the parade ends, and the Rockford Police Department and Rockford Recreation Department clear up what is left, a Team Deathmatch event will be held between the Patriots and Redcoats. Using older style weapons, the two sides will be held at a stalemate in front of the white country house. To prevent the Redcoats from reclaiming Rockford, the Patriots must defend their land. Last team standing wins.
Each survivor on the winning team will be granted $5000 for their efforts.
