GUIDE Information on Guides - Discussion

Good afternoon,

The purpose of this thread is to detail the importance of guides and also to emphasize how much it is appreciated when veteran players devote their time to producing guides for the community to review, and for new players to use as they become used to our server.

The purpose of the above information is to give a general idea of where we at, when creating guides, or re-purposing guides. Our gamemode is ever-changing, which is why it will always be appreciated when people take time to create threads.

If you notice there are guides that are outdated, please do not be afraid to re-create them so they may be pinned.

As for this thread, please use this to discuss information on guides, what we expect from a guide and the information needed for it to be pinned, or to alert me if there are guides that are outdated and need to be unpinned and recreated. I will update this thread over time with the current map and gamemode version.

As for formats in guides, there is no general guideline. I just expect there to be sufficient knowledge, with detail. Make sure that it is not overly complicated as well, as this information is being used by new players.

I’ll be making a LSD guide later today as the only one that’s posted is mega outdated.
I’ll also be making a guide on how to drive better.

Also, for future readers, all the threads that are currently under "Sticky Threads" will have the most relevant and current information. Please look only at the threads listed there instead of the pages worth of threads, as this will be your best source of current information for help regarding our server.

Hey would this be a good place to suggest unpinning ace carter's LSD guide and pinning axel's instead? His guide is more informative and cleaner (imo) and Ace's guide won't be updated any time soon for... reasons...
