That's ridiculous, just because it's in a circle doesn't mean it's pizza in any way shape or form. Most pizza now of days is now coming is squares like deep dish, its still pizza but in another shape.

"Pizza is a savory dish of Italian origin consisting of a usually round," - Google pizza and this will come up "usually round" which means it doesn't have to be round that doesn't make it a pizza.

You are adding other ingredients as I said before if you take out 1 major part of a hamburger it's no longer a hamburger it's just a patty. However, if you start adding, lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickles, well now it's a hamburger just without the bun. You are taking the original thought a pizza: dough, cheese, and sauce and removing cheese... Well now it's just dough and cheese, which could also be described as many other things like garlic knots (Just without garlic) or pizza bites, or Hartford Courant, or some could even argue then it's just spaghetti.
so naples is the city where pizza was first made. one of the earliest PIZZAS was the Pizza Marinara. ITS IN THE TITLE THIS DATES BACK TO the 1700s

hamburger and cheeseburgers are both burgers you don't need cheese to make a burger nor do you need cheese to make a pizza. this isn't a core ingredient.

What no, that's like saying "well the bun is the hamburger" that is just a component of what makes up a hamburger? the patty is just that its chopped meat in the shape of a disk.

"a sandwich consisting of a cooked patty of ground or chopped beef, usually in a roll or bun, variously garnished." (“Dictionary”)

"A hamburger is a sandwich consisting of one or more cooked patties of ground meat, usually beef, placed inside a sliced bread roll or bun." (Wikipedia Contributors)

"The hamburger made its first United States appearance at the St. Louis Louisiana Purchase Exposition in 1904. The hamburger is one of America's favorite foods. It consists of a cooked patty of ground beef sandwiched between two bread halves, usually in the form of a round bun." (AskUSDA)

No, you most definitely can not? If you get a cheeseburger without cheese THEN it's JUST A HAMBURGER You really drive up to MC and say "uhh yeh can I get a cheeseburger, but without the cheese"

How do you expect to order this? You wouldn't say "Can I get a hamburger without the cheese, pickles, lettuce, ketchup, and buns"

And there's already a food out there for just chopped beef ITS CALLED A MEATBALL, this is just flattened. And if you google "Flat Meatball" You will find the following results: View attachment 12781

a legit patty. But do you know what you will not find, a hamburger, because its no longer a hamburger.

"A burger without a bun is still a burger, a burger with cheese but no bun is still a cheeseburger.. The name burger comes from the hamburger, no ham but from Hamburg, which is just a round meat patty." download.jpg

Pizza transcends the frivolous need for cheese. Anyone who says otherwise is a bitch.
