EVENT June TDM Showdown

Welcome to the first-ever June TDM showdown! Throughout the month of June, you and your team will have the chance to prove themselves against many others in the ultimate test of your skills!

There will be a series of 4 different TDM tournaments for you and your team to prove yourselves. If you win one of these tournaments, your team will advance to the final showdown during the first week of July! The winners of the final showdown will each receive 3 EXOTIC WEAPONS! (HK 416, L-85, and an M1 Carbine)

Rules:

1. Each team must consist of 4 players. If there is a missing player at the time of your matchup, you may substitute someone else in, but your substitute must not be a member of any other team. Additionally, if your team makes it to the final showdown, ONLY THE ORIGINAL TEAM MEMBERS CAN PLAY. There will be no substitutions for the final showdown.

2. Each team must have a captain. The captain will be the main line of communication between event staff and your team. The captain is also responsible for ensuring all team members are ready for their matches.

3. Each tournament round will be best out of 3. (If you win against a team twice, you will move on to the next round).

4. Only the first-place winners of each tournament will advance to the final showdown. If you win a tournament, your team can not participate in any other tournaments until the final showdown.

5. If you lose a tournament, your team can enter in any of the remaining tournaments (excluding the final showdown).

6. The brackets and results of each tournament will be published shortly after each one occurs.

7. Sign-ups will occur 30 minutes before each tournament in-game. (More instructions to follow)

8. Rewards for each tournament will follow standard guidelines and the winners of the final showdown will each receive an HK 416, L-85, and an M1 Carbine.

9. Tournament dates will be announced on a weekly basis and the first tournament will occur on: 6/2/2022 @ 9 PM EST.

10. Rules are subject to change at any time.

If you didn't quite make it during the first round, don't worry because Round 2 of the TDM Showdown will occur on June 11th @ 4 PM EST! with signups beginning 30 minutes before hand! There will be a reminder posted one hour beforehand and the day beforehand so you don't forget!

If you didn't quite make it during the first round, don't worry because Round 3 of the TDM Showdown will occur on June 27th @ 9:30 PM EST! with signups beginning 30 minutes before hand! There will be a reminder posted one hour beforehand and the day beforehand so you don't forget!

Also note that this will be your FINAL CHANCE TO QUALIFY FOR THE FINAL SHOWDOWN!

After Round 4, an appropriate date will be determined for the Final Showdown and rules for said showdown will be announced. Spectators will be welcome!

Final Update

Congratulations to Team Asylum for their victory in Round 4 of the TDM Showdown! They have advanced to the final showdown.

For those who are wondering, the final showdown will occur on July 1st @ 10:00 PM EST! As of right now the participants in the final Showdown are: Informals, Klasus' Father's, xx1nj3ct3dxx, and Asylum!

Rules:​

1. All Rules are subject to change at any time, with or without prior notice.
2. Teams may substitute up to 2 players from their original roster. All substitutes must be approved before the beginning of the final showdown and no additional substitutes will be approved during the final showdown.
3. If a team does not have 4 players and can not come up with substitutes, they may chose to forfeit their position to the 2nd place team in their qualifier match or play without a full team.
4. The final showdown will follow the same best out of 3 format that all qualifier matches used. (You must win 2 out of 3 matches against the opposing team to advance)
5. If a player gets banned for hacking, exploiting, or anything of the sort, their whole team will be disqualified from the final showdown and the 2nd place winner in their qualifier match will take their place.
6. Toxicity of any sort will result in immediate disqualification for both you and your team and the 2nd place winner in your qualifier match will take your place in the final showdown.
7. There will be a 3rd place matchup. Standard event reward guidelines will be followed for this matchup.
8. The tournament bracket may be modified before event start as event organizers see fit.
9. The First place winners of the Final Showdown will each receive 3 exotic weapons (HK 416, L-85, and an M1 Carbine) and the 2nd place winners will receive awards according to standard event guidelines.
10. Metagaming during the event (watching a stream ,having people communicate to you from the spectator box, etc.) or any other rulebreak during the event will be punished severely and may result in your team being disqualified from the event.
