Do you enjoy the changes? Personally I only really cared about fishing and it is back so I am happy.

Some of the new changes are lack-luster. Could've been better things added imo and more cars. But I'm sure the next update might be even better. I'm hoping on it.

I’ve had 50 fishing bait taking up space in my inventory for this moment.

I’m ready.

My favorite things:
HELL YEAH FISHING IS BACK
I do truly enjoy the sniper rifle
Its really cool to see people using the building props now since the fridges are gone.

I havent really found anything I disliked yet. Was really hoping to see the properties bug fixed but Im sure that actually a very complex issue all in all.

I didn't have time to try out anything, but I am grieving over the loss of my fridges.

Amen, I experimented with some props tonight with semi promising results. Some notes are photo copiers are not bullet proof, bath tubs are great except for the fact you can’t stack them in any way that doesn’t make a head glitch, the small printers have strange hit boxes making gaps in your construction, and no prop is like fridges.

Fishing is good, but I truly preferred the system we had before. The sniper rifle is fun but do the civilians get it?

More cars would be fun and it is a tad bit boring as a civilian atm, 1.5 is bringing meth confirmed and we can all get excited for that, but idk if I wanna get my hopes up quite yet for a good civilian update.

Pine county deputies getting shotguns and magnums and the new gas mask cosmetic is honestly all I could ever ask for as a Pine county deputy main.

Criminals aren't suppose to be a walk in the park, its supposed to be challenging, instead of relying on npcs and a public market, its encouraging a more player to player interaction.

I personally like the update, I enjoy seeing things change because it makes it different instead of being the same all the time, even if it becomes a bit more challenging to do. :)

I agree with this POV completely, but believe some parts are a struggle for a Gmod server with 128 max players. A player driven market is really cool, especially with its inspiration from the grand exchange from runescape and was incredibly nifty until illegal items got removed and now it’s sort of useless. Personally I only used the mono market to sell random things I got from raids or to buy a quick gun when I was running low and now pretty much both those features are gone.

Well it solves two issues. One being that you cant use mono-market as extra storage now as some people were doing. Also, it keeps it semi-legit being as its super unrealistic to trade illegal contraband on the public market. But I could meet you halfway in the idea of creating a "Black Mono-Market" for illegal goods.

If we had some sort of dark web that criminals can access and sell guns but they have to pay a premium to use the service then that would be neat and a good half way

I understand that the recent monomarket change will avoid criminal players from mass storing things and voiding the risk of being caught by police, But imo this idea is running away from the main purpose of monomarket which is sell/buy whatever stuff you want, like the grandexchange. I dont know if runescape was the only inspiration to create the monomarket but supposing that yes it is, it doesnt make that you couldnt sell a group of items only because of its characteristics (being ilegal). For me at least, is the same as forbidding on Runescape from selling swords, crossbow and poison. Because thats why the grand exchange was made for, a big street fair to sell and buy anything

Deputies getting to access to shotguns is a huge +, now all I need is doughnuts and I can assemble the full Ford Bronco loadout.

This update has given the police a much needed buff, but I'm hoping they'll give the criminal mains some love in the next update because right now being a criminal is becoming harder and harder.

I personally do not believe the police buff was necessary at all but it wasn’t anything game breaking, just a one shot sniper, a scar with grenade launcher, and more decent gun cops. I do not understand the choice to make cops so incredible that criminals stand little to no chance to win against them but it may be apart of a eventual goal to have the servers crime side being as hidden as it typically is irl, without making cop as whitelisted or restricting who becomes cop or training cops better unlike real life. The love is more towards cop and it depends on the situation if it’s a pro or a con. I think more we’ll designed features would be cool but that is hopefully what we will see in 1.5.

I would like to think that IF the police started to appear to win more often in firefights during raids or whatever, that eventually it could mean the removal of the 2 life rule. Which as someone with distinguished experience in staffing on Monolith, would make tracing NLR breakers far easier, but only time will tell how the update pans out as more people play it no use complaining to heavily now and throwing in the towel.
