Microphone not working

Hi there. I am having very extreme issues with my microphone in Garry's Mod. It is no other steam game, only Gmod. I have tried all the console commands (@rako was giving me some commands to try out in game, none of which did anything), steam picks up my microphone, but Gmod doesn't. Here are some pictures of my settings in both Steam and Gmod.

Have you tried disabling every other mic other than the one you use?
Right click the sound icon in the bottom right and click sounds
Then click recording and disable all the other ones that you don't use except for the mic you are using, should look like this:

Make sure your mic input is set to default device not default communication device. Sometimes windows switchs them and it's annoying. Double check, double check, double check.

(EDIT I have spent over 5 days searching for a damn solution, going through tons of videos, doing tons of bank robberies typing, mugging tons of people typing, and it has gotten cancer. Thank you so much <3<3<3
