April 4th, 2017. Silly @DevulTj, who got banned from HogwartsRP, told me to try this new server with me. MonolithRP. Although it was passworded, I still managed to sneak in and be there whilst the staff members were busy producing the first trailer.

April 7th, 2017. MonolithRP was ready to launch. After waiting for a long while (my laptop as usual being slow), I managed to join the server. The server was full, many people walking on the evocity map and exploring every little thing. Exciting!!

April 21st, 2017. After making myself known (being friends with staff members, being active on the server and our beloved forums (rip old forums)), I managed to get an exciting but also nerve wrecking interview with the community management (and our Martinerr, who was an SA at the time). I passed with flying colors and at that day I started my journey as trial moderator.

May 12th, 2017. After playing loads of days, I was promoted to administrator (Pmx, this is where you and I started going ham on reports ingame :p )! During this period the changes of Monolith were visible. It wasn't the simple gamemode with Evocity as map anymore. I think at this point Monolith started to grow immensely.

July 8th, 2017. After many reports and initiatives shown, I finally reached Senior Administrator. With this rank I was able to show the Community Management that I was able to lead staff. Or at least be in charge of the refunds..because boy was there a lot of things that needed change. I was known as the refund machine!! (Rommel couldn't agree more :D ). I think my senior days were probably the most challenging days. Being the first female staff member, was at times challenging. You get picked on or made an easy target for people to spew lies. Regardless of the irrelevant opinions of certain people, I continued and had only one goal: deliver the best I can give to Monolith. And, so I did; change the refund and recruitment process, implement Mentors and event-team, intensive staff reviews, casual chats and the list goes on. It wasn't easy as change can be scary for many people. But we managed!

October 13th, 2018. I stole Tj's role hehe. Just kidding! He had a lot of things to focus on during the times such as school. Plus, I was determined to become a Server Director after a while. I wanted to change Monolith. Turn it upside down, change processes so that things would go faster and more efficient. I wanted to pursue my goal and thus I worked my ass off to reach this spot. I will never forget spending a lot of time with the staff members, our ''intensive staff reviews''. But I enjoyed it, a lot. I managed to learn a lot about each individual; who are they, what do they do in their real lives, what are their issues and what can I do to help them get promoted for example. It was intensive but very fun.
As SD I have been in charge in many things. Leading staff, managing the server (or 2 servers..), process optimization, crisis management.. You name it. It wasn't always easy to make decisions. I tried to make many good ones, but nobody is perfect. I have learned a lot during my server director days. After 7 months I felt ready for more.

May 31st, 2018. Whilst Thy set sail for a half year, I was chosen to fill in as Community Manager ( I totes did not bribe Thy to vouch for me..).That day I felt like I was on top of the world. My name in full red!! Finally!!! Although that day I was also semi Server Director (me and Pmx, we were like hard-working machines :p), I did not mind one bit. Knowing me, I cannot just sit still anyways. I had a good thing going and wanted to continue taking care of my baby. You could say I was a bit of a mother figure to the project and certainly to my staff. I could be your friend, but when the time calls for it you and I could have a spooky talk. But, just as I said to my staff, everything I have said was in favor of Monolith and of you. If I had to be a beeatch, then so be it. That's a hard thing for Managers nowadays; how to balance the good and the bad cop?

March 15th, 2020. The day I thought I would never see coming. After nearly of three years of service, I have decided to resign from my position. I'm starting a new chapter in my life: adult life! I am going to work for a company and want to keep moving. I haven't been very active, we can all tell. All these new people are probably thinking ''Who is Lola ?!''. I don't blame them; writing my whole journey right now I realize that the level of motivation and dedication hasn't been the same. I started as a newbie to (Semi) Serious Roleplay, didn't even fully understand ERP.. Now I think I can call myself a roleplay specialist! But in all fairness, I realize how good of a job our staff and our management are doing, so good that right now I feel my help is not as needed anymore. I laid the groundwork and just as the circle of life, we pass the things to our next generation.

My journey at Monolith, from the beginning to the end, has been full of fun, exciting, challenging and sad moments. As I said to my staff, I have put so much dedication, passion and emotion in this project. More than anything else in my life. I enjoyed working with the nice staff, or should i say my nice friends. I have met some wonderful people and although there were some moments where I felt like leaving, these wonderful people kept me going. People think that being staff should be only work, but you couldn't be more wrong. We support each other, on an emotional level. Whether it's between CM's or between the staff, we remain a team. #TeamMonolith (I better see this in the statuses),

This turned out to be a long message... I applaud you for reading this far. To end my emotional letter, I want to thank a lot of people. Tj first, for introducting me to Monolith. If you weren't banned that day, I probably wouldn't have stumbled upon this beauty. I want to thank Gurrazor for the opportunity to show you and everybody else that I can be that person I want to be. It wasn't always easy, and I was stubborn here and there, but you managed to see the good in me. I enjoyed it every one bit. Furthermore, thank you Pmx for your support and your consistent hard work, all the way back from the start. You, and some other people, have stayed with Monolith from day 1. You're one loyal and hard-working brazillian. Thank you Thy and Stuvi for your support during many tough times. I consider you two as my silly uncles who are often drunk or high hehe. Gregg, you have also shown a lot of dedication and passion for the project that cannot go unnoticed. You and pmx are good role models for the staff and for our little maj.kat, Thank you, current and ex-staff, for your dedication and level of commitment to Monolith. Thank you for those who were there yesterday, it wasn't easy to bring the bad news to you guys (I swear i didn't want to cry ok) but you guys listened and I can tell you have great respect for me, as a manager and as a friend.

Last but not least, thank you, the community of Monolith. Nearly 3 years you guys have shared the love that I - we have for this project. Without the community, I wouldn't have anything to manage. Those who remember playing with me, from evo, rockford or whatever era, thank you for playing with me and just having fun. I enjoyed those times sincerely. Having a shop/bakery or just machete fighting someone. Oh and let's not forget my famous alien moments!

I am really grateful for everybody and for Monolith. If there's one thing you should take from me, whether you're staff or just a player, is that you can achieve that position regardless of what has been said by others. Don't let people pull you down and focus on your goal. Whether it's getting SA/SD/CM, graduating or even getting that job that you always wanted. Work hard for it and pay them haters no mind.

LOVE YOU GUYS ! LOLA MEID OUT!

@Michael has been with us for a long time now and has always remained commited and dedicated to helping the community. Furthermore, he has been very consistent with his activity at Monolith, and has been taking a lot of initiative! With that said, he was promoted to Senior Administrator! We are sure he will be an amazing Senior Administrator!
