Even as a gunmaker myself i always found it REALLY weird that mining the resources to make the gun took 10x longer than making the gun? It takes hours to mine the resources but a few mins to craft the gun. I think switch them and make resource mining really easy and fast BUT make things like hardened drills/weapons/equipment take longer maybe instead of 5 seconds to craft a gun how about 1 min or 3 mins or 5 mins per gun, and it might encourage big warehouses with lots of furnaces
