Feel free to share with the community any of the hobbies / skills you have that you think are worth sharing! Don't be afraid either, as you might find others that have similar hobbies or skills as you. Even if you are just a beginner at it.

For my take,

• I'm big into writing, most of my posts are annoying as hell to read probably, but on my free time I write short stories and "novels" for NaNoWriMo.
• Outside of writing, I like to program. I'm mostly a novice, but I am learning C# right now, have understanding in Java, and dabble in Lua from time to time.
• I also like to collect movies, and I like to collect video game consoles.

My hobbies consist of School, monolith, and uh, i'm sure there's something else, nope wait that's it.. As for skills basically the same except i'm terrible with crimes on monolith, and know the basics for modding SSE

I enjoy competitive fly fishing in my free time with friends or just regular fishing, outside of gaming and school. I mainly fish in freshwater and rarely saltwater, but if I am not at home, I am probably fishing.

Species I have caught (from what I remember): Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, longnose gar, Florida gar, spotted gar, channel catfish, perch, mangrove snapper, needlefish, bluegill, sunfish, tilapia, shiner, shad, + tons of other panfish and crap, too many turtles, too much algae and trash. Don't do a lot of variety fishing but very used to the same species after fishing for around 8ish years.

I used to play for my high school as a wide reciever, we got into the playoffs my senior year and got to visit NRG stadium where the Houston Texans play. I’m in college now so can’t really play football at a D1 school lol

I know java, c++ and python but I don’t really code outside of doing homework, maybe small projects for fun. One of my new years resolutions is to be more social and not be locked up in my dorm all day been playing too much monolith

I’m involved in club soccer, and mountain biking. Just something about the nature aspect that takes your breath away. I also sometimes go take my dog on the front of the bike and make him pull me for exercise lol. This is my doggo

When I was a kid I was all about hockey, shit was my life and I use to play it all the time I could. I knew I was really talented at it, but I never fully pursued it and kinda lost interest as I got older.

I like to call myself a historian, I absolutely love history and learning about ancient times and wars over the centuries. Which lead me to my love of strategy games like hoi4 and total war.

My biggest hobby tho is obviously gaming, I use to always play console when I was young. But once I started PC you can’t go back. I’m all about FPS now, it’s something I really want to pursue and get better at everyday. I’ve considered becoming a streamer possibly, but right now I’m focusing on improving my talent.

I swam for my school team and was good at that, best stroke was breast. I've quit that this year since practices take up too much time that I'd rather put into other things like school and other hobbies, but I might start again next season. I still swim for exercise and fun. I also ride dirt bikes and mountain bikes, again for exercise and fun. Biggest hobby is probably gaming, though I've been getting pretty burned out of mostly all games recently. I think I'm good at FPS games, with a lot of time when I was younger playing WaW for hours on end I got really good at that and that's probably what caused my initial love for gaming. Got into PC gaming through Minecraft when I was about 7, then when I started playing GMod I converted to entirely playing PC. I also surf sometimes, a given since I live at the beach... I have no skill in coding, but it's something I'd like to get into. Like most people, I listen to a decent amount of music, and watch some TV.

NaNoWriMo, Damn that is something I haven't heard about for a long time (I participated during middle school). Anyways, I also swam during high school with my favorite and best stroke being breast. I was never good at it but I always had fun with my team. Other hobbies include PC gaming (Im trash at most games and getting burnt out tbh) and anything to do with cars and car culture. I really need to start practicing driving manual again lol. Another thing to mention. I wouldnt call this a hobby but I am generally interested in Finance (My major is quantitative economics). Idk if im getting older but I just dont find gaming as enjoyable as I once did. Maybe its cause im focused on my job and college more than anything else but who knows. Future plans for me include moving to New Zealand and working at a big financial firm but I got a long way to go before dat happens lol.
