So our rules around offensive language has two conditions: 1) It can only be in character 2) Hard slurs are not acceptable, even in character. It sure does seem from my perspective that each side broken one of these two conditions. @Mr.Alex, you're former staff and should absolutely know better - and know the consequences of such language. As for @Tye, while not the worst I've seen, I do feel the need to point out that you've had issues with poor behavior in PMs in the past. In summary - both of you should know better than this.

@Mr.Alex will receive a 1 Day Ban.
@Tye will receive 1 Warning Point.
