Hi everyone,
the majority of old and new players has surely noticed that there are times of us being short staffed and rule-breakers taking over the server to ruin your fun for their own entertainment. After talking to our staff we've come to the following - temporary for now - decision:
That does obviously not affect every player - new players will NOT fall under these conditions unless their sole interest is to ruin our community members role-playing experience. Players that aren't breaking the rules or have broken 1-3 rules will not need to fear a severe punishment.
We certainly didn't want to go this route but unfortunately the rising count of rule-breaks has forced us to do so and we'll do everything we can to stop this as fast as possible.
---
In addition to these punishment changes, we want to announce some information on how we will continue to handle in-game reports.
Thank you for your understanding.
the majority of old and new players has surely noticed that there are times of us being short staffed and rule-breakers taking over the server to ruin your fun for their own entertainment. After talking to our staff we've come to the following - temporary for now - decision:
- From now on Monolith Staff will reserve the right to punish repeated rule-breakers severely. That is, for example, if you're disrespecting staff for the fourth of fifth time with no stopping in sight.
- These severe punishments can be either a month or year ban, depending on your history and rule break.
- We can and will deny the ability to appeal your ban, depending on your history.

In addition to these punishment changes, we want to announce some information on how we will continue to handle in-game reports.
- If you are submitting a report, please be as descriptive as possible as you'll help us out alot by doing so. Reports, such as "admin to me", "I need help" and "FTVL/RDM/VDM", are not decriptive and will not be responded to by our staff.
- If you have any evidence that you can provide, please make sure you have it ready in a timely manner for our in-game staff to review it.
- If you can not have evidence ready within ~5 minutes, please proceed to make a Player Report on our forums. We can not have a staff member wait 5+ minutes before he can start working on a report as other players are also waiting to be assisted.
- Lastly, please do not use !report for simple questions - we have !help in place for this. Staff and Mentors will be able to repond to your !help requests - where reports should only be used to inform us about rule breaks and other issues staff have to take care off.
Thank you for your understanding.
