What does it mean if you are banned for : malicious?

I saw that a guy got permabanned for malicious. Does this mean he was hacking or something like that?

For your information, the definition of the word malicious is: "intending or intended to do harm".

In terms of users being banned this could be the user is intending to violate our server rules which we are aware and therefore they have malicious intent. In short, it could be someone planning to do it or have done it and was planned.

It means you did something that is disruptive to the well-being of the community, more than likely you will be fully aware of your actions.
