Zombie Out Break
A sample of a biological weapon has seeped into the waters of Rockford from the Rockford Medical Hospital. Any one who has drank the contaminated water will begin to show symptoms of extreme rage towards the un-infected. The Center of Disease Control has cordoned off the area; help is not coming.
Small weapons will be placed around the area for survivors to defend themselves with. A car will be placed after 6 minutes for the survivors to find and escape in if they wish to leave the infected area.
$4,000 per survivor. $4,000 per Zombie. Depending on which team wins
The event will be hosted at 9PM EST.

A bit late for my reply now but, in the future all events are announced on the forums, discord, and steam group. You join the event by joining the game about 30 minutes or so before the listed time for that event. Then you just wait till staff make an in game announcement telling players they are accepting participants.
