Completely agree with all of the points faced here, I myself have taken part of these large scale battles far to many times. They're fun but It seems players are forced into wars since neither of the parties need to roleplay out conflicts, they choose wars over a roleplay meeting for example...

That was one of the points I've made, from a player's standpoint PVP is fun and exciting but after awhile of heavy TDMing people forget the core-values of the game, and since everybody is doing the same as these colossus organizations the roleplay takes a halt and becomes PVP focused.
