I tried to join this server once and i got fully loaded (i think) there was some music playing and then i clicked dont show again and it crashed. I rejoined and now its getting stuck on materials/arleitiss/riotshield/shield_gripbump.vtf.bz2 I have tried verifying game cache and restarting pc...

I am having the same issue. I am trying to play in the Chrominium beta testing go to properties then beta testing i will update if it works edit (didnt work)
