Your evidence to support your claim: What happened was we mug him a long time before the incident. Then he comes up I have my back turned and unarmed. He says not a word and shoots me

Yep that's about right. You did also shoot at my truck as I was driving away but it doesn't really matter. Me and some friends were hunting for you for about 10 minutes after you mugged me. As far as I know, there's no expiration time on NLR. Even if a "long time has passed" (10 minutes)

Either way, there still has to be rp. I was unarmed back turned you said nothing and just shot. You did not tell me to put my hands up or anything

No rp wouldve at least been you confirming who it was before shooting what if you woulda shot the wrong guy.

Staff are supposed to set a role model on how to roleplay. and that is partially rp and then its not at the same time

I understand it felt upsetting to die unexpectedly, but when you mug someone you also accept the risks that come along with it. There is always a chance that person could want you dead, and they wont always make sure that you fully understand that you're going to die, and why you're going to die. In my opinion, shooting you in the face as soon as I recognize you is the best way to RP it, as that is how I imagine my character handling his business.

Asking me to confirm it's you, or give you a warning, in my eyes is what is more FailRP than anything. In real life the business is handled before so you don't kill me first. If this had been our first interaction in that life, then of course I would expect some sort of RP initiation. In this, I did RP it in the way my character would. While you were mugging me, all I said was "You're making a big mistake.". That was my warning to you, and it should have been ample warning to know to watch out for me if you saw me again.

As far as I knew, ever since your friend shot at me, I thought I would be killed by you as soon as you saw me. When that first bullet was shot, I knew not to give you a second chance to kill me - Whether or not it was you who actually fired the shots.
