I was hesitating even making a ban appeal due to the irrefutable evidence provided by @xd which prompted the punishment. I understand that all members who were even in the discord at the time, besides @Kocayine and @xd, and those who were not directly involved in the incident were unbanned and told to warn @Ice and myself about the strict rules around metagaming and its complete intolerance in the community, especially now that discord channels are being provided for strictly OOC communication and monitored by staff at their discretion. I understand completely that in order to maintain the facade of no exceptions, there is little to no chance of my ban being shortened, let alone removed, however I am making a ban appeal anyways.
There is no excuse for metagaming, as without regulation, is extremely unfair for players who are directly involved in the information being spread, however not in the 3rd party program. Due to this, whenever I (personally) interact with other players that are not in the discord, it is habitual for me to Toggle Deafen in discord as to avoid any incidents of Metagaming. This incident, however, was not something I had considered to be metagaming as it effected no one else. There was no one in the part of the PD where @Ice and I were, however I do understand the definition of metagaming in the server rules (See Spoiler) is different from the examples that it provides, or rather they are inexplicit about what is considered Metagaming (vis-à-vis interaction with non-aligned parties) and so I assumed (wrongly) that if no one could hear us, nor did it effect anyone directly, that it was permissible.
I am not asking for a rule clarification, as I clearly understand that under no circumstance, whatsoever, is metagaming permitted, regardless if the situation is so insignificant that parties do not even consider it metagaming. I do hope that you understand that if the situation were any different, if I was being shot at by police for breaking out of the PD, if I was even looking at an officer, anything, I would not have shared such information in the discord. A while ago, @Aaron brought some people who I was in the old Luxury discord with and explained that we could not even use a separate discord from the Monolith one and explained the strict guidelines that they were imposing, this group of people who were brought up to the roof included @Ice and myself, solidifying the rules around discord usage. I am not ill-informed about the topic of Metagaming, nor do I actively participate in it (at least intentionally), I try my best to avoid metagaming at all costs, regardless if it is a minor thing such as a mugging, or a major thing such as a house raid in which I have items deployed, I do not intentionally metagame.
I make this thread in hopes that you can understand, I will take whatever precautionary measures you deem I should take (such as recording each session that I am on monolith and uploading it at the discretion of an admin, doing this for as long as necessary to prove that I will not repeat this error, under any circumstance). I honestly did not mean to violate this rule, and if given the opportunity, I will vigorously attempt to prove that I will not repeat such mistakes in the future. I only ask that I be unbanned as, if you can imagine, Monolith is such a large part of where I get entertainment from, along with a distraction from life. As @Aaron stated in a sit that he took involving me a while ago, I partake in RP more seriously than most, which is the main reason why I continuously play the server, along with the community, and the addons/scripts.

Metagaming - Taking OOC to IC or vice-versa. Example: Bob would be walking down the street as he’d see a citizen who is an undercover cop. However, he uses the scoreboard to know he’s an undercover cop and avoids him based on using information not known to the character. Second Example: Bob hears in OOC chat that someone dropped money next to a road on the highway. He’d go towards it to pick it up without knowing about it in character.
