Ban Reason: FailRP | Drove away as mayor when a cop pulled him over, then demoted him
Time of Occurrence:12:27 p.m. Monday,July 31
Relevant Evidence: a police officer was trying to pull me over, i was role playing as i was drunk/high and i was the mayor trying to get away from him. until he started shooting at me, putting my and my security at the time life in danger. so i got out of the car saying that he will be demoted for shooting at us, but he put me in cuffs when i had the manage tab open so i demoted him and me and my security drove off because we had cleared the situation,___ i know this most likely wont go anywhere but i just want some clarification on this whole thing. and why i was banned for demoting an officer that was shooting at me.

You were banned because you broke two rules;
8.3.3: As the mayor you represent the City but, with the approval of staff, can accept bribes, engage in the overseeing of certain illegal operations but can not actually engage in any criminal activities, only observe it.
1.4: When being pulled over, do not speed off/start a pursuit without a valid roleplay reason. A valid reason, for example, is having high calibre weapons equipped on you.

As far as I'm concerned, you didnt have any approval to engage in any illegal activity.
With that, you told me that you were a higher power than the police. I have to tell you that you're wrong there too as rule 8.3.8 states: The mayor is not above the law and is liable for arrests and tickets like any other citizen.

I hope I hereby clarified why I banned you and hope you noticed that your knowledge of the Monolith server rules isn't what it should be.

As for the cop, he shot at your vehicle* because you sped off after being pulled over to stop the car (since you were a dangerous driver on drugs) and to prevent you to hit any other citizens. I didnt see that as a offence.
