Ban Reason: Using script to afk with casino machines
Time of Occurrence: 3/6/2018 around 0:30 CET
Relevant Evidence: I was doing casino for hours, then I hear some Alex guy talking about me in voice chat, saying I'm scripting, I found it funny and i ignored him, then i went out to make a sandwich, Around 10 mins later when I came back I was banned for scripting, which i definetly didn't do.

Explain to me how you continued to use the casino machine while @Tyler and I were moving you around and trying to get your attention. Your only log was placing the benches 40 minutes before I banned you.

sure, I binded E into my mouse button 5 and used a macro, that is built into the mouse itself to repeat the bound key. I only did that becouse I did not want anyone to steal the machine i was putting hours into. The reason i put the benches down was cuz some guy kept phase gunning copper ore infront of me, trying to push me away from the machine by his body etc. I know that the fact i was using a macro is still something that should be punishable, but I was not using any scripts, or anything like that.

So the ban is valid, you aren't allowed to use anything to perform actions while AFK on the server.

Yes, it is. I never had the intention to ask for my ban to be removed. However 5 days in my opinion is an overkill. Especially since I wasnt using a script. I could just easily have went afk mining with a +attack command and I would be doing the same thing. Not that I have ever done it. But I'm fairly positive ppl who do that and get caught dont get banned for 5 days. All I'm asking for is you to reconsider the lenght of my ban. Thanks in advance.

You must be attentive at the computer at all times, including +attack.

The issue here is that we do not allow scripts, macros of that nature, etc. no matter what, even if you are at the computer. On top of that, you were AFKing, and you aren’t giving me a good reason to shorten your ban or lift it.

Alright, I understand. My reasoning to get a reduced time was that a macro is not something that serious as I was banned for. AKA scripting. I never done that, never will. From what you're saying the amount of ban time given is the same for scripting and macroing. If thats the case I accept the fact that I'm banned for 5 days.
Also as I said previously : " I could just easily have went afk mining with a +attack command and I would be doing the same thing. " I said this as a comperison to macroing, since its basicly the same thing. If using a macro, something similar to the above mentioned +attack command is just as serious as using a script, then I have nothing else to say. Sorry to waste your time.
