Your Character Name: Tom Evola
Ban Length: 1 day
Banning Staff Member (@AdminName to mention the staff member): @Maher
Ban Reason: Disrespect, abuse of OOC
Time of Occurrence: 4:00 8/7/2017
Relevant Evidence: N/A
Additional members involved/witnessing: Tyrone McLovin
So essentially, I had Maher and Tyrone McLovin hostage because of an ongoing feud with the police(they had just killed my friend and took his MP5, my plan was to get the mp5 back and kill the chief after. I forgot I didn't have zipties because of the ziptie glitch and so this messed up the plan), they were a police Sargent and chief, respectively. At one point I turned my back to them and turned around, I had the gun pointed at the chief and I saw his hands drop and switch to a rifle. I was killed and began to rage, as I felt the chief broke FearRP. If he had pulled it out when my back was turned that would have been different, but I saw him pull it out right in front of me. Maher refused to act and it further upset me. While I was in jail after being revived, the police chief came and sang "if you're salty and you know it clap your hands. (I proceeded to /me claps and told him I am salty because he broke a rule in front of the mod but I felt the mod was being biased by not acting on it). I then took my frustration to OOC and sent a message that was disrespectful to Maher. At the time, I felt I was being disrespected by both Maher and McLovin. I overreacted and I know I could have handled it better.
I know it's possible he didn't see it. It did, however, appear on my screen that he was watching the situation. I want to note also Maher did not pull out his weapon, it was just McLovin.
I just want to say that I sincerely apologize to Maher. I was caught up in frustration and it's nothing I have personally against you. I've cooled down since then and I won't let this happen again. I know it's only a 24 hour ban but this is my last day off of work this week and I wanted to play today. I respect whatever decision you come to, as I know flaming in OOC isn't part of the spirit of the community here at all. This is the only time I've remotely flamed in OOC and it was within a very rare context. I hope that you understand where I'm coming from and my point of view here, and take into account that I was further instigated even after the situation was over.
