The item was taken out of him from a jewerly raid, he was revived and arrested, he was shot and killed inside prison by a cop multiple times while being a prisoner, but managed to escape and get to the evidence locker. The gun was lost due to the locker mechanics. I can't confirm any lost attachments or ammunition.
