Bug :: Cancelling a dumpster dive still causes a delay

Description: I started dumpster diving, looked away from it, and I got the notice.

I have tested this, when searching the dumpster you are able to look away from the dumpster freely with your mouse.
If you move your player with WASD then it will cancel the action, just like most things such as putting attachments on weapons etc.
Not a bug just the way it is designed.
