can someone help me fix this problem my friends having

so when my friend wants to join the mono server. He gets to a point in loading and he crashed what he is loading i have seen pop up on the forums but i want a detailed fix on how to fix the problem this is what he loads when he crashes. resource/fonts/ugficon.ttf

Hey, @Omynix

Is he crashing back to desktop instantly, or is he getting a not responding page? For example, when I load into Monolith I get a not responding screen on the 'resource/fonts/ugficon.ttf', but I do not press anything and it proceeds to load into the server in around 5 minutes after I receive the not responding screen. Please try this method and get back with me.

Make sure he isn't tabbing out during the connecting process.
Is he running 64-bit Gmod or 32?
