Skill Guide: Crafting
Note:
Crafting Level Requirements :
There are a lot of things to craft in the server so to view the crafting requirements for each thing, go in game, hit F3 (or whatever button you personally use to open your inventory), go to skills, crafting and it will show all of the levels needed to craft the item you are looking for.
STEP 1: Obtaining Materials and getting a workbench
The materials needed for crafting heavily varies between items. Most of which are obtained via hardware store or by using some other skill to make the materials (see other Guides if you are not any of these). There are a couple of different work stations used to level up crafting, they will be listed below.
1. Workbench (Starter to Intermediate)
2. Factory Furnace, Conveyor and Storage Box. (This will be your “end game” crafting. Guns are crafted here).
STEP 2: Start the crafting
Great! You have gathered materials for crafting, but how do you actually craft something? First off, place down your newly obtained Workbench, simply go to the item you want to craft, click it and boom! Just hit the craft button and you are all good to go!
STEP 3: Making money from crafting
Various items crafted in game can be sold to players and depending on the items (Mostly Weapons) can be sold for a high profit! Simply head over to the MonoPages app on your phone and make a listing and if people are interested, they will message you!
TIPS
1. When crafting using a workbench do not do it in the open as someone can come up to it and steal it, but only if it is empty.
2. Do keep in mind that some of the stuff you craft is drop on death, therefore you should be careful walking out of your base after you have crafted something like a gun or kevlar.
3. To level up faster keep crafting the higher level things. For Ex. a chair is level 1 crafting but you are level 9, you should be crafting something on your level.
Note:
- Crafting is arguably the most important skill to level and learn within Monolith Servers.
- There is no real danger in crafting until you get to the guns, then your industrial storage can be taken. Do note that your basic workbench can be picked up by other players though.
