Time of Occurrence: I'm guessing at 2:44PM EST, I wasn't even online when I was banned.

I don't understand why this is a ban... I was not using this discord in-game and never have. I was never talked to about using this discord, and I feel this ban is uncalled for. I logged on to play and was just banned.
In Sp00fy's above ban reason, which I copied, it nowhere states that we used this 3rd party software for communication. We were officially banned for owning a discord and having admin permissions basically. He stated in our discord chat that he has no evidence of us using it for communication.

@sp00fy was in our discord, I was not online and he decided to ban everyone in the discord, nobody was connected to voice channels or anything like that. We never use our discord for in-game communications, and he had no evidence that we had.
He stated in our discord chat that the only evidence he has is: "that we own the discord that we use for our family".
That is correct. Never did he state that we used it for comms. in-game, because we haven't.
My friend, Spark, was also banned.

I'm heading off to my girlfriend's house for the day, my final statement is:
This ban was uncalled for, I was not even online. The rule states you cannot use it for in-game communications while in the server. It'd be impossible for me to be doing so when not even in the server. I'd also like to state nobody that was banned was even connected to a Voice Channel, and chat logs show that no in-game communications were used. I appreciate any Administrators taking their time to read this, hopefully you can understand my point of view. I'd also like to apologize to @sp00fy for giving him an attitude. Hopefully you guys can understand why I am frustrated.

I want to include @Tyler in this as he was part of settling on your punishment, although I take all responsibility of banning both you and @jose aceves.

It all started when @jose aceves wrote this in OOC:

Tyler and I joined the Discord server and very quickly got the notion that the Discord was primarily meant for communication between you guys and your org members, as you guys were mentioning stuff like "recruits", and of course because @jose aceves literally attempted to, and then succeeded with sharing the Discord invite in org chat.

As per standard procedure, Tyler and I attempted to gather and talk to every member of the Discord channel to discuss the severety of the rulebreak. We talked to every player which were on the GMod server, and they all received warning points for being involved, and they seemed to understand and accept without any protest. We couldn't, however, talk to you or @jose aceves directly, and therefore we decided to give you both a ban, so that you this way would be forced to appeal and explain on the forums. It was also somewhat apparent that you guys were the ones managing and inviting people to the Discord.

If you're going to quote me, do it correctly.

Seeing as you generally don't seem to be using the Discord in an "illegal" manner, I will be removing you and @jose aceves's bans. I will leave the thread open for some time for further replies from @Tyler or anyone else with useful information on the matter.

The fact that @jose aceves sent the Discord invite while being in-game to other people who were in-game is more than sufficient evidence.

You are promoting a unofficial Discord server while you are ingame. We don't care what Discord you are on while playing other games, but when you are playing Monolith you should be using ours.
