Notes:
Step in cost:
When deciding to follow the quest you will be instructed to buy some items from the Hardware store Found here on the map: in the Lower Alders district.
These items will ring you up a total of:
(20% is the standard tax with no mayor elected)
The tiers of mask just give you more reserve oxygen so you can stay underwater diving for longer
Step by step: how to start diving:
Once these items are purchased you will be instructed to go to the “Fishing Docks” which can be found here on the map:
Once arrived you can equip the store bought items and start your diving journey
By jumping in the water.
Once in the water if you have the sonar equipped you will have a visual indication in the bottom left of your screen to “press F” to use the sonar, once you press F and you are near any treasures they will be highlighted by a little chest icon and a yellow outline as seen in the picture below:
Start collecting:
When locating a dig spot, coral, or floating treasure you can take out your Diving camera and take a picture of this item for some extra cash that will immediately be pocketed
When taking a picture you will see a green camera frame (left side) when you haven't taken a picture of the item and a yellow/golden frame (right side) once you have taken a picture of it
Also including the Picture frame indicator you will see a vintage picture appear in the bottom right (1) of your screen saying what item you took a picture of and the monetary reward for taking the picture and in the top right of your screen the gamemode will also tell you how much money you received for it (2)

After taking as picture of the treasure you can pick it up by Pressing E when its a dirt pile or Holding e and pressing Pick up when it's a floating treasure
Selling Treasures:
After your diving excursion you can head back to the Fishing docks with all your newfound treasures and sell them to the Treasure hunter NPC located right next to the Commercial Marina NPC
Once arrived, have a little talk with him and open up his selling menu.
There he will show all of your treasures you have on your person and how much he will give you for each and or all.
Quality
Majority if not all of the treasures and corals have a quality or condition status.
Here are some if not all of the conditions i have found so far:
Or the Treasure hunter NPC will tell you when you are trying to sell the treasures like shown below:
These prices will depend on the quantity and quality of the item
And there you go, you have successfully dived for treasures, enjoy the riches you might find on the bottom of the ocean!

Repairing of Diving items:
Out of the 3 main diving items there is only 1 that has a durability meter and that is the diving mask.
The Diving mask being the only item you will need a close eye on is repairable with the repair bench.
The repair bench can be bought from the hardware store's* tools cashier for a price of 4875$ (premium).
Once you have bought the repair bench, deploy it and drag your damaged mask from your inventory into the repair bench.
Depending on how damaged it is you will need more or less items to repair ir but for a halfway damaged tier 3 mask you will need 1x Glass shard and 2x Plastic chunks as shown below
- There is a quest available that can be accessed Via your Quest log menu in your inventory
- Quest is not required but helpful
- Items are not required but preferred
