Introduction
The manufacturing profession is the combination of four skills: Mining, Woodcutting, Metalworking, and Crafting. It is anything and everything that has to do with using factory equipment. This guide will go into further detail about the profession and what precautions a manufacturer should take.
This guide assumes previous experience with the skills mentioned above. For more information, click here to visit the guide hub.
Requirements
Players should consider what it is that they want to craft before gathering their defenses and renting a property. Refer to the following tables for the minimum skill level to start manufacturing items in a furnace category.
> Weapon Parts
Skill | Mining | Woodcutting | Metalworking | Crafting |
Level | 15 | 15 | 14 | 1 |

Manufacturing
Players should consider the following guidelines to increase safety and reduce the risk of losing items in a raid.
> Property Selection
Select a property that has industrial outlets, this will be used to power the factory equipment. Any location will be fine, but be mindful when choosing a property in an active or inactive area of the map.
> Factory Placement
Factory setups should be placed in the corner farthest away from the main door. The furnace should be oriented such that you are looking into its side when in first-person. The conveyor should be placed directly in front of it. The storage box should be placed to your right.
This is to give the manufacturer enough time to retrieve items from their furnace and storage box in the event of a raid. Use third-person to view the main door while in the factory menu. For a better view, disable the blur setting in the F4 menu.
[!] Factory Equipment Limit
Players can deploy a maximum of four factory items at any given time. This means that you can have one factory setup along with two portable furnaces since they are not considered a factory item.
Profiting
Players can profit from manufacturing in a variety of ways.
Create an advertisement using /ad to let the public know that you have items for sale. If you are selling illegal items such as guns, use wording such as “replica firearms” or “nerf guns” to reduce the chances of a warrant being placed on you.
Remember to include a phone number. You can retrieve it from the contacts app by clicking your name and copying it.
> MonoPages
Find players on the MonoPages app who are willing to buy your items. Access the app by using your phone. This has an advantage over MonoMarket in that all advertisements are made by players who are currently online.
If you are selling illegal items such as guns, use wording such as “replica firearms” or “nerf guns” to reduce the chances of a warrant being placed on you.
[!] Police Detectives
Be aware that detectives can arrest you if you approach them to sell illegal items and reveal it to them. Good practice is to let civilians approach you since detectives cannot bait people into doing illegal activities.
