Reason for Report: He was trying to force me to unarrest a guy which he believed was an invalid arrest. I get teleported from on duty into the pd jail to the same cell where the guy I had just jailed was located. He tried to force me to unarrest the guy. Even if the arrest was unjust, it would be an IC situation and shouldn't be handled by an admin sit. It would be between the chief and the arresting officer. Michael Wick/dmorrison2k tried to handle the situation without any evidence as well. I also called for another mod during the sit because I didn't believe the situation should be handled by this staff member who doesn't even have evidence of what this guy is saying is true. He claims he checked the 'logs' and it didn't show that he killed anyone. When another mod, Johnny183 came into the sit, he said there was logs showing the guy killed the cadet. The guy I was in the sit with ran over and killed a cadet by the realtor, fled the scene, and refused to pull over until he got to the top part of the ravine, claiming he didn't see the sirens as well as claiming he did not know he ran the guy over.

It is convenient you failed to admit a few points,

@Johnny183 didn't want to handle the situation alone because you two are in the same org. @Beta Spirit came because you were specifically asking other moderators to come out because you didn't feel I was handling the situation properly. This, ironically, is not how you should have handled the situation. You can take your issues to a post like this, because all you do is take focus away from the problem when we're in-game and make my job harder to do.

You also failed to mention you were reported against by @Ice, the arrested man in question, for saying you'd perma-ban him while you were pointing a gun at him to get out of his car. I brought you because the report was against you. You failed to provide any evidence @Ice did anything wrong, and he had no evidence of what you had said.

You, however, both proved to me that this was a waste of time and the compromise I declared was to unarrest him for his last two or three minutes and you go back on your way. Instead you turned it into a 15-minute bull-shit fest that wasted the time of 3 moderators.

You're right, I did say there were no logs of him killing anybody, because technically he didn't. His vehicle did. I corrected myself however, a moment later...

@Johnny183 gave his opinion on it, I agreed it was the best way to go, so that's what happened. Not entirely sure what you're reporting me for but in any case, this is my response. I suggest next time you make one of these you include all the details and not just the one partial to yourself.

Yes, I did feel like you weren't handling the situation properly. You tried to force me to unarrest him when he gave you zero evidence of anything, just his story.

I never said that and evidence was never supplied to support his claim. I was the arresting officer, why would I need evidence to prove the arrest was proper?

He had no evidence to support his claim and you were siding with him. I had to call another mod because you were going to make me unarrest him even though I watched him run over a cadet and flee the scene. He never gave any evidence for the report.

This is very simple, the report ended up being about how Ice claimed you told him he'd be banned if he didn't listen to you. You have complaints he wasn't listening to you with a gun pointed at him. At the end of the day, its a he-said-she-said that is just a waste of time. I chose to compromise, his arrest is removed since he only has a few minutes left, and you leave each other alone.

Instead of that happening, you refused to listen to the moderator, myself, and requested another moderator because you didn't like how I was treating you.

Honestly, its a game, I'm not catering to you, I'm catering to the 92 players that were on the server. I don't have the time nor the desire to make everyone happy. But I will try and make everyone be in a fair environment so they can enjoy the game for themselves, with their friends, and against them.

That's all I have to say on the matter, a higher-up will review my conduct on this and get back to you. Any question he or she has I'll answer but other than that, I have nothing to add.

So, @dmorrison2k was a little wrong with his initial judgement, however seeing the end result of the situation makes me happy. The way this was handled could have been better, however. No action will be taken, however I will have a chat about this situation with him.
