Skill Guide: Mining
Note:
Mining Level Requirements For Ores :
Stone - 1
Coal - 6
Copper - 6
Iron - 14
Silver - 30
Aluminum - 32
Gold - 55
Titanium - 80
STEP 1: Obtaining A Pickaxe
First make your way over to the Hardware Store and go up to the Tool Cashier, there the pickaxe will be listed under one of the items sold
STEP 2: Locating the Mines
Once you have secured your pickaxe you will need to make your way over to the mines. There are 2 areas available to mine at, once of which you will need a diving mask sold by the same NPC

STEP 3: Navigate The Mines and Mine the Ore
To mine the Ore it is as simple as pulling the pickaxe out, walking up and holding the left click!

BELOW IS A MAP OF THE MINES TO HELP NAVIGATE (Millenium Mines Only)
STEP 4: Refer To Metal Working Guide OR Sell to NPC in Hardware Store
After putting in the work and mining as much ore as you want you are finally ready to move on to smelting / selling or crafting! Refer to Metal Working and crafting guides for these steps, to sell raw ore go to the NPC in the Hardware store that you first bought the pickaxe from.
Tips
1. Instead of holding left click you can hit F10 to pull up your console, type +attack and it will auto swing, -attack to stop.
2. If you are caught afk mining and cannot respond you may get kicked or pulled out of the mines.
3. Regular Furnaces give mining xp, so you can use this while mining to be very efficient!
Note:
- Mining is an important skill to level as bars are used in almost every single crafting recipe
- The only danger to mining is getting robbed in / around the mines
