EVENT Monoford: Corrupt Government

Event Announcement:
An oppressive mayor has been elected to the dismay of the citizens of Monoford. A resistance network hidden deep in Falcon Creek is being established however the military and corrupt government officials have locked down Monoford county. You must flee the city, locate this network, take arms and assault the city to release it from the oppressive government which holds it and it's citizens captive.

When is it?
Monoford's Corrupt Government will be taking place on the Saturday 27th of June at 6PM EST (chronus cooldown)

Player Rules:

• Premium lockers and the bank in the city will be blocked off. The only way of obtaining firearms is to flee the city to Pine County.
• The only jobs that are permitted during this event will be Law Enforcement. Staff and mentors may have access to National Guard. Any other job is forbidden and will be blocked off.
• If you do not wish to participate, you may move to Pine County before the event begins.
• Shooting players who are not participating intentionally is strictly forbidden and will result in a weapons blacklist.
• You may not kill Law Enforcement unless they know you as a threat. For example, if you have a gun in your hands or on your back. An exception to this rule is the border patrols, who you may run over while breaking through the checkpoint during the city assault.

Law Enforcement Rules:

• Law Enforcement may not shoot everyone on sight unless they have a good reason to do so. During The Uprising and The Collapse, they may not shoot unless the specific criteria are met.
• Arbitrary searches are permitted. You may pull people over, but not give any tickets.
• If you do not wish to participate, you may move to Pine County before the event begins.
• All budget is handled ICly. If need be, you may be spawned guns depending on budget.
• NLR is not active during this event for Law Enforcement.

Phases of the Government:
During this event, the Government will go through a series of phases. This determines what they can and can't do to the citizens.

The Preliminary Phase: The Mayor has recently been elected into power. At this phase, all is normal. The Law Enforcement may be harsh on the citizens, bother them and pull them over for little reason. They may not arrest or shoot anyone yet.

The Refuge Phase: There has recently been a couple of groups fleeing the city. Law Enforcement may question certain individuals on their relations to certain escapees. Arbitrary searches will become common and Border Patrol will tighten security, bulk up the defenses and have guns available at a moments notice.

The Uprising: Citizens have started to take up arms. Law Enforcement may detain anyone in the streets of Monoford. Anyone with a gun visible will be shot by Law Enforcement. The Insurgencies are pushing into the city. Border patrol cease all activity, including allowing other Law Enforcement through. Should the Law Enforcement fail to contain the invasion at this stage, it won't be long before they're overthrown.

The Collapse: The Uprising has pressed up against the wall against the heavily defended City Hall. The group or individual to penetrate the walls and execute the Mayor leading the oppression will win the event. Everyone around the City Hall will be shot on sight.
