Monolith Microfreezes

Immediately after using voice chat (proximity or radio) the game becomes unresponsive for 1-2 seconds, causing audio loss, hard to drive cars, and hard to aim or shoot

do I have to just wait for a hotfix or is there a solution/slight improvement I can use?

We're investigating the problem.

I helped him fix this issue. The issue was with the amount of space that his server downloads folder was taking up.
