Question regarding hostages

The rules state we can kill hostages that dont comply to our commands, does this extend to law enforcement? As in, if the police refuse your demands (Provided they are within the rules), are you allowed to kill the hostage (In terms of server rules, not law), or can they just wait you out because you're not allowed to follow through on threats to the hostages?

As in, if the police refuse your demands

If the police fail to comply with your demands and you tell them you will kill the hostage then yes you can kill the hostage.
