Relevant Evidence: This whole situation was a sticky one. The biggest charge that I was given, and that I can find plausible, was LTAP . I was trying to explain to the admin that my game was crashing (due to constant freezing, glitching, etc). He pulled the logs to show that it was disconnected by user. I did disconnect myself. This, of course because my game was having issues. It was inevitable that I would be leaving the server whether I bit the bullet and did it myself or the game would just crash on its own. Now, I do admit, it was rather stupid of me to leave without saying why. I can see why the Admin would have suspected that I was leaving to avoid punishment, and for that, I apologize. But, I believe this punishment was a little extensive for a small mistake I made. Now, lets examine how I got into this situation. A fireman was J-Walking in the middle of the street. I didn’t see him until I'd hit him. A cop was nearby, and told me to exit the vehicle. Me, obviously innocent because the man was in the middle of the road, was irritated at the police's demand. I left with my car, causing a chase. The chase lasted for a good minute in a half until my car fell into the ravine. At this point, I found myself willing to cooperate with the cops and talk out the situation. I walked to them, and was instantly put in handcuffs. Understandable. I was ready to talk with them, but they kept attempting to force me in the car. I couldn’t defend myself. At this point, I was irritated. I knew the only thing that would happen would be that I'd get put straight into jail. Also, my game had been laggy/glitchy with constant freezing more frequently for the past couple minutes or so. During being arrested, I kept trying to flee, by jumping into the ravine. I jumped in about 2 or 3 times. After this, I gave up and realized my (rather irritable) arrest was inevitable. I was in the back of the car for a good bit, while my game was still acting up. This is when I was more focused on fixing my game. Disregarding the current situation I was in, I just decided to restart my game, and come back. Once I returned, I was in a sit. The admin started to read off what I had done wrong, explaining why I could expect a ban in the near future. I tried to explain that my game crashed / was going to crash but he didn’t believe me. I was accused of lying and stalling at this point (im not sure why stalling, possibly from me jumping in the ravine.) But I was not lying. He chuckled, and said "maybe you need some time off to thing about what you did wrong.” This is when I got banned. – Look, I understand I messed up a few times. Im still kind of new to RP. Im not using this as an excuse, Im just saying as I play monolith I learn more and more how to RP. But, I think my ban was a little excessive. I was banned for 5 days for a simple misunderstanding + a few minor mistakes (jumping into the ravine). If I was banned for 12 hours to a day, I could accept my punishment. All I ask is for you to take this appeal into consideration, and give me another chance. If you’d like to discuss the situation with me on discord, I’d be happy to talk.
