Date and time of loss: Not 100% sure, a week ago at most.
What happened: I bought a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi (which costed $65,999) because I wanted to get a decent car to drive in. I modded it with visual things like a paintjob, some bodygroup changes, and ended up spending $15,000 in modding the car. I then went to the engine, and the 1st engine upgrade doesn't change the vehicle at all, it tops at 60 and doesn't accelerate faster. There are absolutely no differences to be seen between the engines. Any higher than the 1st engine upgrade to the other engines, and the car goes 2mph. After a few seconds of holding the forward key, the car glitches out and starts jumping up a bit before just hurling itself across the map. I can't upgrade the car and it is useless in that case because I bought it as a replacement for my Volvo 240, but the Volvo goes faster than the Impreza for a much cheaper price. It's a waste of money and it's because the car is glitched and cannot be upgraded so it can actually be a viable option for speed. The car can only be sold for $32,999.

What do you need refunded: A Subaru Impreza ($65,999) with $15,000 in upgrades making the total $80,999.
Evidence: Staff can watch me drive the car with the 1st upgrade and see it makes no difference, and the higher upgrades and watch the car glitch out.

Have you tried buying the stock engine and seeing if it fixes it?

Refer to @Coffii's solution mentioned above. Engines are 100% refundable in-game.
