Dear Staff Team,
Let me set the scene: It was a sunny day (probably — the lighting engine is weird), and I, a humble civilian minding my own criminal business, was in the midst of a little illicit fun via the infamous Silk Road heists. Things were going smoothly… until they weren’t.
Phase 1: Crime Doesn’t Pay — Unless It’s Bugged
I was arrested (fair enough, I guess) and placed in jail to contemplate my life choices. As I paced my tiny concrete kingdom, fate—or more accurately, a game bug—intervened. Somehow, I was accidentally let out of my cell, and next thing I know, I’m free-roaming the booking area like a lost tourist. The game decided this little jailbreak was my fault and slapped a wanted level on me. Classic.
Phase 2: Enter Taz, the Philosophical Police Chief
Taz, the man, the myth, the police chief, began chatting with me. Instead of, say, putting me back in my cell or reporting the bug, he casually offered me a ticket — for something I had already been arrested for. I politely declined and mentioned I would appeal it, which is when things got a bit... chaotic.
Phase 3: Things Go From Weird to Illegally Weird
Taz, in a moment of either mercy or confusion (hard to tell), uncuffed me and released me. Within milliseconds of my newfound freedom, I was immediately (and illegally) searched by ARMAADA STRIKE (SteamID: 76561199117428662) who must’ve smelled the crime on me like a bloodhound with no legal training.
Before I could even say, “Hey, is this legal?” I was tazed (yes, again) — this time by none other than Taz himself. Apparently, freedom was a short-lived concept. To top it off, Strike issued me another ticket. At this point, I wasn't sure if I was in jail, on parole, in a simulation, or just on an episode of “Cops: Glitch Edition.”
My Concerns:
Illegal Search and Seizure
I was searched with no probable cause, no warrant, and frankly no reason other than being in the general vicinity of Strike’s itchy interaction key.
Double Jeopardy
I was both arrested and ticketed for the same offense — an offense Taz clearly knew was caused by a game bug. Not sure if this is roleplay or a rerun.
Excessive Force
I had just been released. I wasn’t running. I wasn’t threatening. I was probably just trying to understand what year it was. And then bam — tazed like a Black Friday shopper reaching for the last TV.
Summary:
I’m filing this report because this situation made no logical or legal sense. I understand bugs happen, and I’m all for roleplay, but this felt like a comedy of errors where I was the punchline. I’m just looking for clarity, fairness, and maybe a small “hey, that wasn’t right” from someone with a rulebook and common sense.
