Type of feedback: Suggestion
Title: Make a rule that in a bank raid, after a certain amount of time the PD must make an effort to push into the vault to try and stop the robbers.
Links, videos, context (we love more information, media, etc.): As we all saw from the absolute shit show that bank raid was today, the robbers were in the vault for over 30 minutes, mainly because the PD had snipers, shields, and 6 people in the lobby all preventing the robbers from pushing in, so I believe a better rule would be that after say 30 minutes of a bank raid, the police have to try and make an effort to stop the raid as they already outnumber and outgun the raiders, making it nearly impossible for the raiders to succeed at a bank raid

Good morning,

This has been suggested before many times, and each time has been rejected. I personally don't think it'll fix the problem.

Make a rule that in a bank raid, after a certain amount of time the PD must make an effort to push into the vault to try and stop the robbers.
I can't see this being added, it puts too much strain on the PD and it will be a massive headache for staff to enforce on a regular basis.

As we all saw from the absolute shit show that bank raid was today, the robbers were in the vault for over 30 minutes, mainly because the PD had snipers, shields, and 6 people in the lobby all preventing the robbers from pushing in
This would not be the first time a situation like this occurred. On Monoford, we saw it with 'It's 5 o'clock somewhere'. On Truenorth, it was the cinema. On Paralake, it was the penthouse and on Rockford it's the bank. Bare in mind that each of these times could've seen raids as long as 3 hours long. Each time the police had it's strategies which would require the raiders/defenders in this case to adapt accordingly.

outnumber and outgun the raiders
Sure, the police do outnumber the raiders but they by no means outgun them. The only weapon advantage the police have are the snipers and shields. Because of this, the police heavily rely on strategy. Without strategy, they are not dangerous at all.

This is a strategy by the police, and it's a good one otherwise we wouldn't be here discussing it. Either side has the ability to end a raid by trying to make a push, it's not just down to the police.

The trouble is, this suggestion is focused on one side. Why, for example, after 30 minutes should we not make the raiders push out? They're the ones trying to escape after all.
In a realistic perspective, police gain nothing from charging into military-grade automatic gunfire.

then again since theres a maximum of 8 bank raiders and theres 20+ cops with 50. Snipers and impenetrable shields (which is bullshit in its own right) how are raider supposed to push out, especially with the one way bulletproof glass making it even more of a challenge as you'll just have snipers who are unkillable sniping into the vault room

Hello,

Title: Make a rule that in a bank raid, after a certain amount of time the PD must make an effort to push into the vault to try and stop the robbers.
This has been discussed in the past and was denied. If you raid the bank, you need to make sure you are able to hold it for a while, should that be necessary.

Denied.
