Reason for Report: I was running from him and hid behind a rock and when he got out of his car i ran around the rock and got in his car and started to drive away and he decided to pull out his gun and murder me. i was unarmed and didn't do anything remotely life threatening to him to deserve to be gunned down in cold blood. video speaks for itself

My part of the story:

I was chasing you when I noticed you went to some kind of hidden box behind a rock (premium locker) in front of the Penitentiary access. You crouched and stood there for a moment. Then, decided to run to my car. I shot you because I didn't know if you had grabbed something from the box and were positioning yourself to finish me. Decided to try to incapacitate you, since I only had a small handgun, had no car to flee and I was the only Pine County Deputy at the moment.

As a police officer you cant assume someone has a gone because they are near a box. if i had a weapon in my hand or heck even on me i would be fine with you code red me but seeing as i didn't i really think you broke the rules.

After reviewing the video, Apecengo should not have code red you. As an officer, he should not have opened fire on your car unless you were an immediate threat to his life or the lives of others. From his point of view given the circumstances he was faced with, he may have been quick to think about shooting you due to your suspicious behavior. It seemed like an honest mistake from Apecengo, therefore there is no further action required.
