Stuck in initializing screen

Ever since the server came back online, i have been stuck in the initializing screen whenever i try and join. Is there anything i can do to join the server? I have already restarted my computer as well as validated the game files and am currently opted out of all betas as well as chromium. I can even hear the sirens and people talking but my screen just keeps displaying the initializing screen

I was once stuck in this phase today and I waited about 5 minutes and it eventually worked.

Hey Chocolate Milky!

At the time you made this support thread, our server was experiencing some issues. A majority of players were stuck in the loading screen due to some back-end problems, our developers have since fixed this and everyone should be able to connect.

If this occurs again please feel free to create another thread.
