Hi me again before I go on my rant I would first like to apologize for not reading up on the rules after my break.

Everything leading up to the ban

2 months ago I returned to Monolith RP from another month break or so wanting to catch up with everyone and have a good time little did I know they changed a rule which later leads me to receiving a 3 month. That rule being not being able to use custom crosshairs, I have a veryyyy bad laptop that I played on so i used every tip and trick in the book to try and receive better fps ingame. One of the trips were something called "auto configurations" on this notepad if you were to type a command in console it would automatically execute the command on loadup this allowed me to adjust graphical settings that were not be able to change in the regular setting in game. Along with that was a handful of helpful binds like bind uparrow "say /dab/s" which would let me dab ingame if i pressed the uparrow. A very trusted member of the community named Tristan a former admin posted a auto config and immeadietly the community loved him and praised him for the advice, One of the commands were hud_draw_fixed_reticle 1. This command turned on a secondary default crosshair imbedded within gmod. Before my ban when I was on my break I viewed multiple videos on monolith RP and they had custom crosshairs, infact one of the content creators named sack of salt posted a video with him using a custom crosshair while the rule was enforced.

I personally before hud_draw_fixed_reticle 1 was disabled i did not like it so i removed the command from my configuration so i would never had know it was disabled

how i was banned​

After having this amazing police raid I was supplying video for a report I created the staff member that had received the video apparently reported it to higher ups. They asked me if i was using a custom crosshair and with no hesitation i replied yes, they then told me i was going to reveive a ban for external crosshair usage and while I was explaining myself I was cut off mid explanation and greeted with a screen telling me I was banned for 3 months

What I find confusing

In my previous ban appeal that I created right after I was banned I pointed out the staff member sack o salt for using a custom crosshair while the rule was being enforced my exact words were " if a staff member was let go for the same mistake i made except he knows the rule would it not be fair if i was let off with a warning as well?" I posted my previous appeal on september 15 and It was denied with no explanation on october 5


uhhh im getting my new pc next month and ill probably be unbanned by then so i would'nt get that pressed if this was denied just wondering what yall think
