Admin being reported( Tag by writing @ before their forum name) @Tru

Reason for Report: False Warning point, Not knowing rules. I was warned for killing someone after asking them to drop a gun while they were surrendered. They then repeated about 5 times that they didn't have a gun which I then said, if I ziptie you and find a gun you will be killed. After we got zip ties I searched him then found an AK. I then killed him because he did not comply with my demands. Tru had an argument stating that I was not allowed to demand the gun because I wasn't 100% certain he had one. After I told him if I find a gun and he didn't drop it he would die, I zip tied him then found a primary in his inventory then I killed him for not complying with my demands. I know im not allowed to KILL someone if i wasnt 100% certain but it doesent say im not allowed to demand it. I only killed the guy after I saw it in his inventory which means he didn't comply with my demands.

Time of Occurrence: 5 PM
Evidence to support your claim: He has the so called videos he warned me for,
  1. Surrendered parties (in a Raid, Mugging, Kidnapping and/or Robbery) may not be killed unless they are actively resisting, not valuing their life, threatening to kill or snitch on you, yelling for help or the Law Enforcement, or fail to fulfil requested demands.

Additional members involved/witnessing:

You had told the person that you was mugging to drop his gun and gave them 10 seconds and they did not, you did this without knowing they had a weapon. Before this you tell them "you're going to get killed and if you have a gun on you then it's valid" which shows me that your intentions were to just kill this person at any chance you could, you then get someone to bring you zipties and find them with a gun and killed them. Someone isn't going to drop you items if you don't have zipties to confirm this. You should have put the person under FearRP after checking what they had with zipties and asked them again to drop the items.

What are you talking about? We had guns at him when I told him drop the gun and he decided not to comply. If he didn’t want to drop the gun that was on him but either way he still didn’t comply with my demands. I wouldn’t have to had killed him if he dropped the gun that I knew he had. My intention was to get the gun and leave as fast as possible without having to get someone to drive over there. You can’t justify you warning me off of a non existent rule just because you THINK I just wanted to kill him.

No rule tells me I can only make someone drop a gun if I zip tie them for it. He knew I couldn’t kill him if I didn’t 100% see a gun on him so he took his chances and he died because we actually brought the zip ties

He failed to comply with my demands and the rules state that my kill was valid

Also crazy that you warned me with evidence that clearly has his side of his chat muted. One of the main points of the entire thing was him saying he doesent have a gun.

  1. Any evidence that has your audio-input (your microphone) muted and not recorded will automatically be invalidated and not be used for a final verdict. All audio sources need to be recorded to use a video as valid evidence.

Hello,

Thank you for your report. After reviewing the video that @Tru provided, I do see that the microphone audio is muted by the poster. All evidence provided should have all inputs, so this is something for him to note and look out for while taking future reports.

As for the rulebreak in question, this is a grey area in the rules. As per 4.1.4;
You may not kill somebody for not giving out your requested amount of money if he does not have enough on him.
The only way to check the amount of money, or items, someone has on them is from zipties. Therefore, if they say they do not have enough money or an item and you do not check, you cannot kill them for it.

You went for a workaround of the rules by telling them you would kill them for having something before checking. Your request wasn't unreasonable, but you should have given them another chance to drop the gun once you confirmed that they did have it. That said, we cannot know what they said due to their mic input being muted.

Due to the highly contextual nature of the interaction it entirely depends on history and attitude in a sit what punishment is taken. Tru did not act in bad faith here, and has been reminded to look for all inputs when accepting evidence, no further action is required.

Concluded.
