Skill Guide: Wood Cutting
Note:
Woodworking Level Requirements :
There are a few different woods that you can chop and you also can turn them into planks which usually requires a higher level than what it takes to chop down the tree.
Wood Log - Lvl 1 / Wood Plank - Lvl 15
Pine Log - Lvl 14 / Pine Plank - Lvl 28
Birch Log - Lvl 24/ Birch Plank - Lvl 36
Maple Log - Lvl 38 / Maple Plank - Lvl 57
Willow Log - Lvl 48 / Willow Plank - Lvl 69
STEP 1: Obtaining an axe
First make your way over to the Hardware Store and go up to the Tool Cashier, there the Woodcutter’s Axe will be listed under one of the items sold
STEP 2: Finding The Trees
Trees can be found in multiple places around the map.The locations will be listed below. To mine a tree you simply walk up to it and hit it.
Location 1 :
Location 2 - there isn’t a specific one but on Layer 2 there are multiple green areas on the map, these are areas where Trees will be.
STEP 3: Turning logs into planks
1. First for this you will need to make your way to the Hardware Store again and talk to the Appliances NPC and buy a Woodworking bench.
2. Place the bench and you will see the planks inside and the required amount of logs to make them. Click the plank you are trying to craft and press the craft button in the bottom right.
TIP
1. After you have made all the planks, save them and use them for crafting (You can look at the crafting guide for this if you are unfamiliar with the skill).
Note:
- Woodcutting is not very dangerous but you can be robbed while doing it.
- The planks you get from woodcutting are used in a lot of recipes within Monolith.
