Reason for Report: I am reporting Server Director Gregg for dis acknowledging the existence of certain "toxicity" standards that Monolith upholds. It is an unwritten rule that players should not be extremely toxic to each other for no good reason. I was killed by a group of people and then they all preceded to be extremely "toxic" towards my rag-doll which I found to be a violation of the community standards we try to have here at the Monolith community. When I made a report about this which i will quote, "I am making a report on some people who killed me and then proceeded to be extremely toxic which is not appreciated or accepted here at the monolith community" Bryce accepted my report and within 10 seconds of it being accepted Gregg proceeded to close it without any explanation as to why. I then Pmed Bryce asking why and in conclusion he said that as it was closed by a SD he could not help me further. I then Pmed Gregg and he teleported to me and began defending his actions by claiming that there is no such rule about toxicity and that my report was vague. I do not personally feel it was vague but I would hope that even if Gregg felt like that he would respond by closing and explaining that my report was to vague. Now from personal experience when I was more immature and often fell into these "toxic patterns" I have personally been told by PMX that I should not be toxic and trash talk dead bodies for no good reason as we are a community in the end and monolith does not encourage toxicity. As recent as yesterday, I was in a sit with knight and Knight say quote, "One thing I do not stand for is being toxic" which ultimately resulted in him voice blacklisting a member of the sit for being rude to me. These types of punishments are ones I feel need to occur more as people often ignore how toxic the community can become. I personally feel that it is not fair for Gregg to simply assume that quote, "I see you doing this aswell" and even so make that a justification as to why he should not deal with my report. Although I know this will most likley be denied, I am trying to prove a point that the community needs to come to a common conciseness that toxicity should not be allowed and should be punished as many high ranking staff already issue punishments for this.

Still not explaining how they were "toxic" to your ragdoll. Is someone saying "Get fucked haha" toxic?

Vague reports can be closed.

This is a vague report.

lthough I know this will most likley be denied, I am trying to prove a point that the community needs to come to a common conciseness that toxicity should not be allowed and should be punished as many high ranking staff already issue punishments for this.

Our community does not tolerate online bullying, but insulting you when you died, either comments to your combat-style or simply making small negative comments, is not negative or toxicity. It's called the internet. Should Valve start banning people off CS:GO for saying you suck at shooting and got them killed? Should Riot start banning people for asking "What the hell are you doing" when you start feeding? Should Reddit start banning people for calling someone out in a mild fashion?

This is the internet. And right now, the world is in a time where every is more hostile and negative than ever. Understand peoples emotions and comments right now might not be a true reflection of their character and make proper detailed reports in the future.

I do not have further time to argue, I will let CM handle it from here.

Locked.

I do not see how Gregg acted incorrectly.
We obviously do not allow toxicity in this community and we do not allow certain types of behaviour, described in our rules thread. However, we allow in character disrespect, to a certain extent, clarified in the rules page. It is important to note that these are two entirely different things.

This is why it is important for you to state exactly what happened in these types of situations when submitting a report.
Staff report denied.
