Still missing textures after re-subscribing to all the content? Read this!

You will lose no RP in-server progression or items by following these steps, none of that is affected.

This guide is assuming that you've already tried subscribing/re-subscribing to all the content HERE.

Firstly, ensure you have "Allow all custom files from server" enabled, and your model detail set to high here (under Options>Video>Advanced):​

Also while we're at it, check the little controller icon at the bottom right of Gmod's title screen to ensure "Counter-Strike Source" shows a check mark and not an X by it. It will show an X no matter what if you're using a texture pack and that's fine usually, but if you have the games installed they should show up checked. If not you may want to look into running those games or reinstalling them with gmod to try to get them to associate with each other.


If your game displays this message regarding the map try just unsubscribing and resubscribing to THIS MAP ADDON.

A.
Fix your game in 10 easy steps:

1. Close Garry's Mod.
2. Open the content pack: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932041100
3. Click "X Unsubscribe from all"
4. Launch Garry's Mod.
5. Open console, paste and enter/run the command without the quotes: "menu_cleanupgmas" / Let it finish.

(If you're having trouble opening console when you launch Gmod, open settings first then hit ~. [It's a bug with Gmod.])

1. Close Garry's Mod.
2. Open the content pack: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932041100
3. Click "+ Subscribe to all." / Let anything downloading in Steam finish. (See "Downloading" at the bottom of your steam client.)
4. Launch Garry's Mod / Let all workshop content download/extract completely before connecting to the server.
5. Connect to the server! https://monolithservers.com/servers

If the above didn't work and you don't mind losing all your Garry's Mod workshop content. Follow these expanded steps carefully:

1. Close Garry's Mod.
2. Open: https://steamcommunity.com/my/myworkshopfiles/?appid=4000&browsefilter=mysubscriptions
3. Click "Unsubscribe From All"
4. Go to your Garry's Mod installation directory. (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod)
5. Open the "addons" folder, Ctrl+A to select all files in addons and delete them all. (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons)
6. Go back once to the last directory.
7. Open the "downloads" folder and then the "server" folder, Ctrl+A again and delete everything inside. (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\downloads\server)
8. Open the content pack: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932041100
9. Click "+ Subscribe to all." / Let anything downloading in Steam finish. (See "Downloading" at the bottom of your steam client.)
10. Launch Garry's Mod / Let all workshop content download/extract completely before connecting to the server.
11. Connect to the server! https://monolithservers.com/servers

If you've done everything above and still see errors/missing textures. Almost all custom Garry's Mod servers require Counter-Strike: Source installed and mounted.

Update | Saturday, May 4th 2019: A little late, but some people are still reporting missing textures after the last Gmod update even after following all the steps in the guide. Some have said these last resort options worked when all others didn't, try them in order:

1. Re-install Gmod	2. Factory Reset Gmod
You will lose your downloaded workshop, and game content. - Uninstall Gmod from Programs and Features or through Steam, then redownload it.	You will lose your downloaded workshop content, and possibly your custom configurations too(Binds, etc.). - Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\FactoryReset-GMod.bat

These are the exact steps I used when I couldn't figure it out, took me about a minute to realize, but I've been playing Garry's Mod for years and run into issues with it on the daily.

Accutaly to execute the Gmod nuke .bat is enough, it terminates everything

Thanks for making the guide for some really special problems but I've only wasted my time following it in update 5.5 (Paralake v4 before Truenorth). I had missing ground and wall textures, and ERRORs. After 2 hours of troubleshooting and lots of people telling me to subscribe to the server collection, validating, restarting and using this particular guide, it turns out I've been missing just one stupid addon: Paralake v4 (just the map itself, excluding the map content). Paralake v4 isn't included in the server content.
