But if he said: “admins will just give you a slap on the wrist” doesn’t that imply that what you are doing isn’t tolerated to some degree? Otherwise, why would they give you a “slap on the wrist”?

well, even if he did say "slap on the wrist" doesn't that mean what you are doing is bad and you should have reported the mentor the day he said it, not push the boundaries and think it would be okay because someone said it was. instead you took it into your own judgement and got up on the roof and started making LSD.

Do you have any evidence that he was the one who showed you the spot? Because if you do, then I'll be more than happy to punish him, but we don't punish people for accusations that aren't supported by some kind of evidence.
